The Cordex 4.0kW features an outstanding range of temperature operation, perfect for harsh OSP environments. It provides 100% power output up to 55°C and a de-rated power output up to 75°C. The Cordex 4.0kW has been designed to provide 3,600 Watts output up to 65°C to retain the equivalent operation of the Cordex 3.6kW model.
Many standard indoor rated rectifiers begin to de-rate significantly beyond 45-55°C (113-131°F), requiring an air-conditioned outdoor enclosure for high temperature environments. In a high-temperature scenario such as this, Cordex HP rectifiers can be easily integrated into a more cost-effective fan-cooled enclosure system.
